The eBridge Center is a physical embodiment of the cohort that includes a myriad of champions dedicated to creating a sustainable and equitable ecosystem of entrepreneurship in Brownsville and the greater Rio Grande Valley. Dedicated to the entrepreneur, this project is funded and currently operated by the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, as well as funding in part by the U.S. Economic Development Administration and a generous donation by the Musk Foundation.

Work Experience 

• Ideation, design, construction and implementation of the largest startup incubator and entrepreneurial resource center in the Rio Grande Valley. Work included the marketing, design and construction of the physical space located in the former Casa de Nylon building in Historic Downtown Brownsville as well as logo and brand development for the center.
• Oversee all operations and partnerships within the eBridge Center for Business & Commercialization.
• Project Lead for the construction, development, implementation, and sustainability plan of the eBridge Center for Business & Commercialization.
• Awarded the Bronze Rank by the International Economic Development Council for the eBridge Center.
• Fostering new partnerships with key stakeholders at a local, regional, state, federal and international level in order to foster continued business development in the community.
• Analyzing existing economic situations relative to business attraction and expansion; reviewing modern techniques for development, attraction and scalability of startups on a sustainability level.
• Pursue and successfully obtain state, federal and institutional grants that address skills development and entrepreneurial development.
