• Led the design and execution of region-wide entrepreneurship, incentive, and startup acceleration strategies advancing equitable economic growth across Brownsville and the Rio Grande Valley.
• Directed all operations, programming, partnerships, and development of the eBridge Center for Business & Commercialization, Brownsville’s flagship innovation hub, from construction through long-term sustainability.
• Managed and scaled the Startup Texas Accelerator and Seed Fund, delivering multiple annual cohorts and deploying $500K+ in non-dilutive capital to early-stage companies.
• Oversaw multimillion-dollar state, federal, and institutional grant portfolios, aligning workforce development, entrepreneurship, and small business pipelines.
• Led governmental and intergovernmental affairs, cultivating relationships with elected officials and agencies at the local, state, federal, and international levels, including cross-border partnerships.
• Conducted strategic economic and market analysis to support business attraction, expansion, and startup ecosystem development.
